Three People Found Murdered in Mobile Home

Gulfport police are investigating the deaths of three people found slain in a mobile home park.

Harrison County Coroner released the names of the victims Wednesday - Gloria Morgan, 48, her son, Clarence Payton, 28, and family friend Charles Durr, 63, all of Gulfport.

Hargrove says autopsies are pending, but no details are being released regarding their deaths.

The bodies were found in a residence at Poolside Mobile Home Village about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. The victim's names have not been released.

Police Chief Alan Weatherford says a concerned person who knows the three went to check on them and called authorities.

 

So far, very few details have been released. News 5 has a crew in Gulfport and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
