Police in Atmore are investigating a homicide. A man was found shot next to his car in Atmore early Thursday.
A 911 call came in shortly before 1 a.m. to 195 Maxwell Street for a report of a man shot.
Officers found Christopher Payne Andrews shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
