A half dozen police cars answered a report Tuesday evening of a man with a rifle at a home near Three Notch Kroner Road near Huron Road.
Neighbors said this wasn't the first time police have been called to the area.
The report came in after 6:00.
Mobile Police said the call came out as a domestic disturbance, and a man armed with a rifle.
When News Five arrived, there were six police cars on the scene, and one of the officers holding a rifle.
Police said no arrests were made, but they did take a woman and a small child to another home.
Neighbors said there have been a number of problems in the area in the past with loud noise, and police being called to the scene.
One neighbor, Britney Long, said, "A couple of weeks ago, I had people parking in here. Me and my husband were fixing to go to bed, and we see headlights, and all that. It ain't nothing but drugs."
Another neighbor, Kathy Thorne, said, "When I hear the swearing and cussing, I just go in and shut my door. I don't want to put up with that."
Police said no one was hurt, but people who live in the area were shaken up.
