Investigators in Baldwin County say an Elberta man was stabbed 9 times with a pair of garden clippers or shears Monday night. The gruesome crime happened just before 7pm at a mobile home on C.C. Road near County Road 32.
Deputies say an argument between a landlord and his renter turned violent and at some point during the altercation, the suspect picked up a garden tool...possibly clippers...and stabbed the victim mulitple times.
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
Deputies are looking for Trayvis Minnifield. They believe he's involved in the crime. Minnifield was last seen leaving the mobile home on foot...wearing a green shirt and jeans. K-9 units are searching the C.C. Road area tonight, hoping to track Minnifield's location.
