Baldwin County Sheriff Hoss Mack says Angel Downs murder may have been caught on surveillance camera.
Downs was shot in the head May 9 outside her Gulf Shores condo. Sheriff Mack says some of the surveillance cameras around the condominium complex may have been working.
Downs' boyfriend, Mobile County Commissioner Steve Nodine, is the only suspect in the murder. He has not been charged. But that could change when the case is presented to a Grand Jury on Monday.
The Baldwin County coroner released Downs' body to her family on Tuesday. A memorial service is being held at the pavillion at Gulf Shores Park at 6:00 p.m.
District Attorney Judy Newcomb says search warrants in the case are expected to be released tomorrow.
