The voice messages police say William Roth left on countless cell phones and answering machines are too vulgar for broadcast. The obscene calls offended both Roths' victims and disgusted investigators who put the Baldwin County bail bondsman behind bars after Ross confessed to making them.
"I've been in law enforcement for 16 years and I've never heard anything that vulgar," says Foley Police Lt. David White. "I asked him why he did it and he said, well, it's better than hurting someone."
In the messages, Roth described in detail what he wanted to do sexually with his victims.
"This is obviously a very demented and perverted individual," says White.
Nan Williams says Roth left four vulgar messages on her daughter's phone.
"He has terrified a 15-year old girl," says Williams. "Just for his jollies, his satisfaction and now she's not as safe and as secure as she was and as innocent as she was and that's wrong. He took some of her innocence from her and I want to take a lot from him."
Roth is charged with harassing communications, a misdemeanor. Williams wants lawmakers to make harassment a felony if it involves sexually explicit material.
Roth is always accused of similar crimes in Fairhope, Robertsdale, Gulf Shores and in Jacksonville, Florida.
