A Mobile man, driving with a suspended license, is involved in a hit and run.
State Troopers say Patrick McKinney II hit a 15-year-old girl on a bicycle Saturday night. The girl and three other kids were riding on the southbound shoulder of March Road near Old Pascagoula Road in Grand Bay when she was hit by McKinney's pickup truck.
According to State Troopers, the girl was taken to USA Medical Center with a head injury and a broken arm. Her injuries are non-life threatening.
McKinney turned himself in about 7:00 p.m. Sunday. He's charged with Felony Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Assault First Degree. Troopers say McKinney was driving with a suspended license, has no insurance and was not wearing a seat belt. He's also wanted in Baldwin County for failure to appear in court for a speeding ticket.
McKinney is in Mobile Metro Jail on $8,100 bond.
