State Troopers say a motorcyclist was killed when he slammed into the back of a trailer in Theodore.
According to Cpl. Steve Smith, 31-year-old Orlando Timmes of Theodore tried to pass a pickup truck hauling a trailer around 1:00 p.m. on Bellingrath Road south of Industrial Pkwy. But they were in a no passing zone.
When the truck stopped to make a left turn, Timmes' hit the trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was not charged. The crash remains under investigation.
