Biloxi homeowners are learning how to bounce back from severe weather. The 23rd Annual Home and Garden Show runs this weekend at the Biloxi Coliseum. Dozens of people came to check out the latest products for improving your home. The show also puts a special emphasis on resilient homes. They want to reduce the time it takes for people to return to their homes after a natural disaster.
“Making sure the foundation is tied to the walls, the walls are tied to the roof and the house is built as a unit so when the wind comes it doesn't pick the roof up and blow it away it has to pick the whole house up and move it if it's going to do it,” says Manager of the Resilient Home Program Tim Smail. The Home and Garden show continues Sunday. There is a charge for admission.
