Two sixth-graders at Semmes Middle School overdosed Tuesday after taking prescription drugs they got from a classmate.

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office confirms a sixth-grader confessed to stealing Lortab and Xanax from his mother’s purse and giving them to the boys.

McKinleigh Oliver watched one of the boys after he popped the pills. "I didn't seen him take them but I seen him fall on the ground. We seen the cops come and all that. What were you thinking when you saw him on the ground? I was like he must have done something really bad."

Luckily, both boys are expected to be okay. The sheriff's office is still investigating this case and no charges have been filed against the sixth grade supplier.

A spokesperson for Mobile County Public Schools confirms that he has been suspended.
