Mobile Fire-Rescue says Richard Ferrell and Janet Champion were having trouble making mortgage payments so they set their home on fire in hopes of collecting the insurance money.

Fire investigators have arrested a Mobile couple on arson charges.

They believe Richard Ferrell and Janet Champion, who were having trouble making mortgage payments, set their Thomas Drive home on fire on February 25th in hopes of collecting the insurance money.
