1:00 p.m.Warren Williams, 14, appeared in an Escambia County juvenile courtroom Friday afternoon.
The teenager, who is accused of shooting his father to death, will continue to be held in the juvenile detention center until March 25 when prosecutors will decide whether to charge him as an adult.
After the hearing, Judge Jan Shackelford cleared the courtroom to allow the teenager, his mother and his attorney to talk in private.

Pensacola police arrested a 14 year old boy in the shooting death of his father.
Warren Williams called 911 around 7:30 Thursday night to report the shooting at his family's home on Andrade Street. When police arrived, they found Warren's father, 55-year-old-year old William Williams, dead.
Assistant Chief Chip Simmons says the father and son were the only people in the house during the shooting. Warren William's mother was not home.
Police say Warren shot his father multiple times. He's charged with an open count of murder.
William Williams was assistant federal security director and oversaw the TSA operation at Pensacola Gulf Coast Regional Airport.

Investigators interviewed the teenager, but as of Friday morning the motive was still unclear, according to Simmons.
This is the second homicide this year within Pensacola city limits.
