RV Stopped On I-10 Had Indoor Marijuana Grow

Agents with the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County stopped a pickup truck towing a camper trailer on Interstate 10 for careless driving and expired tags.

The Jackson County, Mississippi Sheriff's Office says 38 year old Jeremy Hicks of Bruceville, Texas was arrested after deputies found a marijuana grow operation in his RV.

Agents with the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County stopped a pickup truck towing a camper trailer near the 68 mile marker west bound for careless driving and expired tags.

During a search of the travel trailer, agents discovered several hydroponic marijuana grow rooms inside. Agents seized three live plants and a small amount of marijuana which had recently been harvested.

Hicks was transported to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department Adult Detention Center where he was booked and charged with one count of cultivation of Marijuana.
