Couple Wanted For Ripping Off Elderly Woman

Prichard police are looking for a couple wanted for stealing thousands of dollars from a 94-year-old woman.

According to police, Michael Mitchell and Christina McMillen went to a home in the 800 block of Easterling Street. They told the homeowner they were contractors for Prichard Water Works. Mitchell and McMillen asked they could do a complete walk-through to test her water faucets. McMillen than distracted the victim, while Mitchell took checks out of the woman's purse.

Several days later, the victim said she noticed checks were missing from her purse. When she got her bank statement, the woman noticed several checks had been cashed between February 3-15 totaling $3,380.

Mitchell drives an older model, red, Ford F-150 pick-up truck. McMillen also has active warrants with the Pensacola Police Department and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office
