Former LeFlore High School star DeMarcus Cousins is the SEC Freshman of the Year. Along with fellow freshman John Wall, the 6' 7", 270 lbs Forward has helped lead the Kentucky Wildcats to a 29-2 overall record and the #2 ranking.
Cousins, who was also named First Team All-SEC, has averaged 15.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game in what is expected to be his only season of college basketball.
