It's game over for Mobile and the Air Force tanker contract. That's the word from the chairman of EADS, Ralph Crosby.

Crosby says his company can't bid alone and Northrop Grumman bowed out of the contest on Monday. The Chairman tells us that Boeing now has a $40 billion dollar opportunity that they don't deserve and he's angry.

Analysts argued for weeks that the contest was a gift to Boeing from the Obama administration but Crosby falls short of agreeing. "I'm more accountable to my shareholders and customers to want to stick my finger in the eye of the President of the United States."

As for the Engineering Center at Brookley Field and the maintenance facility at Mobile's Regional Airport, Crosby say they're staying here.
