Former High School Teacher Arrested

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says Macy Fisher, who was recently fired from Vancleave High School, was involved in a relationship with a 16-year-old student.

She lost her job, now she could lose her freedom.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office Macy Fisher was involved in a relationship with a 16-year-old student at Vancleave High School. They arrested the 31-year-old Hurley resident Tuesday and charged her with one count of enticement of a child under the age of 18. Bond was set at $5,000.

Fisher was recently fired from Vancleave High School, where she had taught social studies since 2004.

If convicted, Fisher faces up to 20 years in prison
