Alabama State Troopers are investigating two deadly crashes that happened Saturday.

Around 3:45 pm, troopers say a 2008 Honda Civic driven by 16 year old Tiffany Parker of Bay Minette left the road and hit some trees on US 31 south of Atmore. Parker was taken by life flight to USA Medical Center. She is listed in serious condition.

Her passenger, 18 year old Patrick Jay of Perdido, was transported to Atmore Hospital where he later died.

Neither Parker or Jay was wearing a seat belt. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The second crash happened on State Highway 17 near Suncrest Road in Mobile County. Troopers believe 40 year old Anthony Gibbs of Prichard was drunk when he wrecked his 1995 Buick Roadmaster. Gibbs was taken to USA Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. His passenger, 33 year old Dwayne Betties of Mobile, was pronounced dead at the scene.
