Many baseball fans are still reacting to the news that former St.Louis Cardinals player Mark McGwire used steroids.
He made the confession Monday saying he took the steroids to help with an injury.
McGwire admitted that he used the performance enhancing drugs for a decade, including when he hit 70 homers in 1998.
Some fans say he should have come clean a long time ago.
Even despite this revelation, many fans say they're willing to welcome him back with open arms when he rejoins the Cardinals next season as a hitting coach.
Some believe this will taint McGwire's bid to enter the Hall of
Fame.
Hall of Fame reliever Goose Gossage is saying the hall of fame does not have room for cheaters and McGwire's admission of steroid use should disqualify him.
Web Wednesday:
Should Mark McGwire still be allowed to enter baseball's hall of fame?
