The devastation in Haiti is affecting people here along the Gulf Coast including a South Alabama basketball player. Veronica Cherizol was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti. She spoke to us Wednesday while on the road with the Jags for a game. She says her family hasn't been able to get in touch with relatives in Haiti, "I haven't heard any bad news.So, I'm just going to hope for the best and just keep, try to keep thinking positive," said Cherizol.
