Retailers are taking Alabama's big win to the bank.
Tide fans rushed to stores early this morning, grabbing all the championship gear they could get their hands on.
An hour before the doors opened at Bama Fever inside Belair Mall, the fans were already lined up.
"I gotta get my shirt," said Carl Hudson, who was standing next to another fan wearing a 1992 championship t-shirt. "I got the Southeastern Conference shirt, I got the Auburn Shirt and I gotta get my national championship shirt," he said.
Bama Fever's shirts were printed in Montgomery with the 37-21 score on them. The shirts arrived 30 minutes before the store opened, and employees rushed to get them on the floor.
A few stores away inside the mall, Hat Shack's alarm rang most of the morning. The National Championship hats all had sensors on them, and there were so many fans packing the store the sensors kept triggering the alarm.
Retailers say hats and t-shirts are the easiest to print. That's why they showed up in stores first. Other merchandise, like pennants and stickers, are in the making and shouldn't be far behind.
