Emergency Management officials in Clarke County, Alabama say there is a critical water shortage in Thomasville.

Due to pipes bursting, residents are being asked to conserve water. Let your water drip at night so the pipes don't burst but you're being asked to turn the water off during the day.

Clarke County Schools will be closing early due to the threat of sleet or possible snow. On Thursday, January 7th-- public schools will shut the doors at 11:30am and private schools will close at noon.
