If you've been outside, we don't have to tell you how cold it is. But, imagine going to school in this weather with no heat. That's exactly what some Mobile County students have been dealing with. A Mobile County Public School Spokesperson says Craighead Elementary was without heat Tuesday and Wednesday after a part broke on the school's heater. Space heaters were brought in to keep the kids warm. And were told their heater is expected to be fixed by Thursday. Students at George Hall Elementary also had to bundle up inside the classroom. Part of the school was without heat Tuesday. And, Wednesday it was out for the entire building. But, the principal tells us the problem has been fixed too, "there were several trucks here from maintenance and I think they dug the pipe up and it was actually a hot water pipe and its all been repaired and the boiler is lit," said George Hall Principal Terri Tomlinson. The school system spokesperson also says there were some heating issues Tuesday at LeFlore High, Grant Elementary, Nan Gray Davis Elementary, and Lott Middle. But, she says those problems were also fixed.
