Cold Weather Leaves People In Need

The cold weather has left a lot of people desperate to stay warm. And, one local non-profit group says they've been overwhelmed. Mobile Community Action is helping people in need with utility bills. We talked with one woman who's getting help from the agency. She's been having a tough time making ends meet and she says the freezing temperatures are not helping, " I would tell them thank you because if it wasn't for them right now I would be wondering where I would be getting the money from," said Doreatha Abston. Mobile Community Action has also been giving out some space heaters. But, they say the need out there is greater than what they have in stock. Now, they only have a limited supply left.
