Investigators are looking for a man who allegedly attacked a Florida panhandle woman, forced her in the back of a van and raped her.
The victim, a woman in her twenties, told sheriff's deputies she was working on her car in the Walmart parking lot on Pensacola Boulevard in Ensley when she was attacked by a man with a knife. The crime reportedly happened around 11:30 Friday night.
The victim says she was driven to another location where she was raped inside the van, then the attacker drove her back to Walmart and dropped her off.
More than a dozen surveillance cameras are visible from the parking lot, and investigators are reviewing video. A spokesperson for the Escambia County Sheriff's Office confirmed the report was made, but would not say what if anything they saw on the surveillance.
The victim described her attacker as a white man in his fourties with reddish-brown hair and a goatee.
Anyone with information is urged to call investigators at 850-587-2142.
