Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Pat White has been carted off the field with a head injury following a helmet-to-helmet collision with Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor.
White landed on his stomach, and Steelers players immediately began waving for help. He moved his legs and rolled onto his side before being lifted onto the cart on his back, and he also moved his arms.
Many Dolphins players and coach Tony Sparano walked across the field to gather around White as he was treated. The collision came at the end of a 7-yard gain on a keeper by White in the third quarter Sunday.
Taylor was unhurt. The game resumed after a delay of 8 minutes.
