Alabama State Troopers are investigating a car accident in Montgomery that claimed the life of a Mobile woman.
The crash happened early Saturday morning on Interstate 65 in Montgomery. 19 year-old Jessica Mary Sylvester was killed when troopers say her Oldsmobile Alero crossed the median and hit a northbound 18-wheeler head-on. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
Troopers believe Sylvester may have been on her cell phone at the time.
The accident is still under investigation.
