A Pensacola is charged with murder after police say she stabbed her elderly husband in the chest with a kitchen knife.
According to police, 72-year-old Marion Roberts was asking his wife Shirley questions about one of her recent medical bills. During the discussion, they say Shirley got a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband one time in the chest. She then called police and waited for them to arrive.
Marion was pronounced dead at the couple's home on Kingsberry Drive. Shirley Roberts was booked into the Escambia County Jail where she is being held without bond.
