The Twizzler bandit has been busted.
Daphne police say an anonymous caller identified the man caught on surveillance video as 33 year old Mark Falkenberry. He's accused of breaking into a woman's car during a Mardi Gras parade in Mobile, stealing her purse and then using a stolen check to buy Twizzlers at Walmart.
Police arrested Falkenberry at his Daphne home around 8:00 Monday morning. They say he confessed to the crime at Walmart and to using two additional stolen checks at the Daphne Winn Dixie.
Falkenberry is currently being held in the Daphne City Jail on theft charges.
