For the first time since Hurricane Katrina, a Biloxi woman is living comfortably tonight. Members of the Hope Community Development agency helped dedicate the home of Mary Jackson today. Her home was badly damage by the storm. The agency had worked with volunteers to help rebuild another house in the neighborhood to Jackson would have a place to live. She says it feels so good to be home.

“For the first time in four and a half years I get to put Katrina behind me and not be faced on a day to day basis with what Katrina's taken away from me,” says new homeowner Mary Jackson. A Hope Community Development Agency spokesman says they’ve helped rebuild more than 700 homes in the region damaged by Katrina.
