Deputies in Santa Rosa County say William Kelly, Junior, loaded a revolver with birdshot and opened fire on his daughter's boyfriend...in a place that makes men a little woozy. Kelly was charged with aggravated battery after deputies say he shot Randall Carter in the groin. Kelly claims he shot Carter below the belt because Carter was abusing his 18-year old daughter.
"Ooh man! You talk about hurting? That's a pain he'll never forget!" says Navarre resident Dre Richard.
"Oh My God! Ouch! When you told me about it, I quivered. That's just really scary!" says Navarre resident Bill Hodge.
Carter was treated and released from a local hospital. Kelly posted a 20-thousand dollar bond and is free tonight.
