Teacher Sentenced For Having Sex With Teen Girl

A Mississippi middle school teacher is sentenced to eight years in prison for having sex with a teenage girl.

56-year-old Clifford Holloway plead no contest Monday in an Escambia County, Florida court room to numerous charges, including having sex with a girl under the age of 16.

Holloway met the girl on MySpace. After talking on-line and on the phone, Holloway traveled from Meridian to Pensacola in March and rented a motel room where the two had sex.

Holloway was arrested in July after hooking up with an undercover officer posing as a teenage girl on MySpace. Holloway sent nude photographs of himself before the two met.

Holloway, who has taught in Mississippi schools for 28 years, must surrender his teaching certificate, register as a sex offender and serve 8 years probation once he's released.
