Jessica Barnhill contacted News 5 and wanted to let people know how special her son, Dylan, was, but the heart-broken mother struggled to get through the interview. With her father by her side, Jessica managed to thank the community for their prayers and support.

"I just want to thank the community for everything they've done and for their prayers," says Jessica. "I'm going to need more prayers."

Jessica's four-year old son, Dylan, was killed in a fire last Wednesday. The fast-moving flames destroyed the home in minutes...Jessica had no way of saving her son. Jessica's father says his daughter's faith will get her through the painful loss.

"Jessica isn't doing very well," says Joe Hodges. "But she does have her faith. She lost everything but her faith."

The family has set up an account at Gulf Winds Credit Union in Atmore. They hope the community can help Jessica out financially with funeral costs and other expenses. She lost everything in the deadly fire.
