Snow and icy roads continued to leave some lingering headaches for some areas. The Mount Vernon Fire Department says more than five cars collided this morning on the Cedar Creek Bridge on Highway 43. One person was taken to Mobile Infirmary with what are described as minor injuries. The fire department says melted snow had iced over on the bridge causing the accident.
