Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday at a store on Beal Parkway. They say they found a man on the ground outside with wounds to his chest and temple.
20-year old Joshua David West of Fort Walton Beach is being treated at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. West's girlfriend says the pair had stopped at the Ritz Food Store at 659 North Beal Parkway to get cigarettes when West and another man got into a fight and West was stabbed with a broken bottle.
