The fight over electronic bingo has become so big, it seems to have taken a life of its own.

Electronic bingo workers and supporters took to the steps of the state capitol Wednesday...making some noise.
They're singing, cheering, and praying Alabama's governor will back off bingo. Over the airwaves, The Let Us Vote Coalition is attacking the governor and his pick to head The Anti Gambling Task Force, Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson, Junior.

A lame duck governor nearing the end of his term, Bob Riley says he decided to crack down on gambling machines because prosecutors refused to enforce the law.
The Citizens For A Better Alabama is paying big bucks for the governor to defend himself in a 60 second television ad.

The Christian Coalition Of Alabama backs the governor, but, their own poll shows a lot of people don't.
Of 400 registered voters, 63 and a half percent opposed pre-dawn raids at Victory Land in Macon County and Country Crossing in Dothan. Both places are closed. Victory Land says it's making computer upgrades.
If the businesses reopen, Tyson promises it won't be for long.
