Cat With No Legs Up for Adoption

Cat With No Legs Up for Adoption

Callie Mae had suffered an electric shock.

A very special cat is looking for a home.
Callie Mae had to have all four legs amputated after she suffered an electric shock climbing up a utility pole running from a dog.
Officials at the Theodore Veterinary Clinic said Callie Mae is well enough to be adopted now, and really doesn't need a lot of extra special care.
Sandy Tomlin with the clinic said, "She needs someone that will hold her in their lap, scratch her: she can't scratch herself, so she has to have somebody to scratch her. She has to be brushed. She has to be groomed, and she's a good kitty. She does not use a litter box. She uses "Wee wee pads," or an old towel."
If you'd like to adopt Callie Mae, you can e-mail the veterinarians at boomershad at aol.com.
