Gulf Breeze woman arrested for allegedly killing her 8 day old infant.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office Investigators have arrested the 8 day old baby's mother.
Michelle Marie Vasquez, 34 years old, is being charged with an open count of murder. She will be held with no bond.
The sheriff's office is not releasing a motive at this time.

A developing story out of Santa Rosa County. A woman flagged down a deputy in Gulf Breeze Friday night.
An infant was found dead in the woods near Congress Street.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office says the woman who flagged down the deputy was the baby's grandmother.
Crime scene investigators, detectives and the medical examiner are trying to find out how the baby died, and why it was in a wooded area.
