A manhunt on the side of I-10 East after a high speed chase out Mississippi. Alabama State Troopers searched by air while Mississippi K-9 units covered the ground in Theodore Wednesday. The Jackson County Sheriff says a deputy pulled a car over in Moss Point. But, we're told the driver who has been identified as Marcus Davis of Gastonia, North Carolina, took off. The chase was on into Alabama. The Sheriff says Davis and one of the passengers, who has been identified as Meghan Phillips of Austin, Texas were taken into custody, "we believe the reason why they fled was they were in possession of stolen merchandise from various drug stores. Now, we have not determined yet where the drug stores are that this stuff was stolen,it was over the counter stuff like Prilosec and razor blades and things like that," said Jackson County, Mississippi Sheriff, Mike Byrd. The Sheriff says a third suspect, who he identifies as Larry Holland of Austin, Texas, is still on run.
