A man is dead and his four year old daughter in the hospital after a rollover accident.
State Troopers say 49 year old Raymond McGowan was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car around 4:10 a.m. on Highway 123 just north of Hartford. The car went off the road and when McGowan over-corrected, it rolled over, landing on the roof.
Neither McGowan, nor his daughter, were wearing seatbelts. Both were ejected from the vehicle. McGowan was pronounced dead at the scene by Geneva County Coroner Max Motley. His daughter was transported to Flowers Hospital in Dothan by Hartford Rescue where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
