Child Hit By Car Has Bruising On Her Brain

Alabama State Troopers say the 9 year old Hutchins Elementary student who was hit by a car Friday morning has a broken collar bone and bruising on her brain.

The 9-year-old Hutchins Elementary student who was hit by a car Friday morning has been transferred to USA Women’s and Children Hospital.

State Troopers say the girl has a broken collar bone and bruising on her brain.

According to troopers, Christopher Talley was driving a 2002 Honda Accord on Johnson Road in West Mobile. Around 7:45 a.m., a 9-year-old girl was crossing the road with three other children to board her school bus near the intersection of McRae Drive. Troopers say Talley failed to yield to the bus' flashing lights and stop sign and hit the little girl.

There has still been no determination if charges will be filed against Talley.
