Teenager Hires Another Teen To Kill His Mother

Police say the teen asked a 13-year-old boy to slash his mother's throat in his driveway. The woman was slashed in the face and neck before the knife broke on her collar bone.

MIAMI BEACH, Florida (AP) - A 15-year-old Miami Beach boy is
charged with conspiracy to commit murder for what police say was a
plan to have his mother killed.
Police say the teen asked a 13-year-old boy to slash his
mother's throat in his driveway. The 13-year-old allegedly attacked
the woman on Friday evening, slashing her with a kitchen knife in
the face and neck before the knife broke on the woman's collar
bone.
The woman wasn't seriously injured and was able to call 911.
Both boys remain behind bars. The 13-year-old is being held on
charges including attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to
commit murder.
