It may be September, but there's a lot of "merch madness" at Ladd-Peebles today, 9/05/09. A lot of people packed the tent selling Jaguars-related shirts, hats and jerseys. Many people browsing already had shirts and were looking for more USA garb. Volunteers say there's a lot of interest in Jaguars merchandise, especially jerseys.
“Cause kids like the jersey's, the like looking like they're from the team and jersey's are comfortable, I have one,” says student volunteer Miranda Hayes. A lot of people were wearing red today. For now, the slogan--"Jags football--still undefeated" still makes sense.
