Jags Football Tailgating

It's time to get to the real reason for Game Day--pregame tailgating. Hundreds of people pulled up their trucks with grills-in-tow to party for the first ever Jags football game, 9/5/09. It was an all day affair filled with food, footballs and fun. People were busy taking in the sights and sounds of the new team atmosphere. It looked like jags football has a big and excited new fan base.

“It's really exciting we've been preparing for like a week we painted signs and got tents and everything, painted our nails we're really excited about Jag football,” says excited student Danielle Honorey. Many of the students here today say they're so happy to finally have a football team of their own. Some alumni say it's a long time coming.
