Mobile police caught an accused copper thief in the act.
According to police, Joseph Jasper stole nearly 6,000 feet of copper wire from the roof of the Mobile Convention Center. He was arrested at the Convention Center.
Police say he also caused $10,000 worth of damage in the process.
Jasper was arrested and charged with Theft of Property.
