Cops Catch Carjacking Suspect

Mobile police say Christopher Jackson carjacked a woman in her driveway. The car was recovered about two weeks later. Jackson was arrested over the weekend.

Police have arrested a man they say carjacked a woman in her driveway.

According to police, the 53-year-old female victim pulled into her driveway on Cecilia Street around 9:30 p.m. on September 27. Before she could get inside, police say Christopher Jackson walked up with a gun and demanded her keys.

Jackson took off in the woman's 1991 Lexus. The car was recovered 10 days later on Rail Road Street. Jackson was arrested over the weekend and charged with robbery. He also had an outstanding warrant for a theft.
