Father & Son Arrested For Making "Magic" Brownies

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says Jerry Witham and his son Morgan were selling marijuana and marijuana brownies out of their home.

The Jackson County Narcotics Task Force arrested a father and son accused of selling marijuana and marijuana brownies out of their home.

Deputies served a search warrant Tuesday evening on a home located at 13901 East El Bonito Drive in the St. Martin community. Inside they found more than 40 sandwich baggies containing ¼ to ½ ounce of marijuana in each bag, one to 10 pound bricks of marijuana, and more than 20 homemade brownies that contained a mixture of marijuana and pecans.

62 year old Jerry Witham is charged with possession of Marijuana with the intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm. His 27 year old son Morgan is charged with one count of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

If convicted, Morgan faces up to 30 years in prison and one million dollars in fines. His father faces up to 60 years in prison and two million dollars in fines.
