Teacher Sentenced For Having Sex With Four Teenage Boys

(AP) - A central Florida teacher has been sentenced
to 10 years in prison for having sex with four teenage boys.
A Polk County jury in August had found 33-year-old Danielle
Jones guilty of five counts of lewd battery and three counts of
unlawful sexual activity with a minor. She was sentenced Tuesday.
Prosecutors said the boys were 14 to 16 years old when they had
sex with the middle school science teacher. Two of them were her
former students.
Jones had faced a possible life sentence, but Circuit Judge
Donald Jacobsen said he was willing to impose a lesser sentence
because the four boys were willing participants.
Jones also will have to serve 15 years of sex offender
probation.
