Saraland Police Investigating Soldier's Death As A Homicide

Police are trying to figure out how a solider ended up dead in his home.

They are not releasing much information at this point, but police say the victim is a middle aged white male. And they are treating his death as a homicide.

The victim's son tells News 5 his dad was in the army and that he was stationed at a base on Tanner Williams Road.

An army captain found the victim's car abandoned in Mobile. Worried something happened to him, the captain and someone else from the base went to the victim's home on Williams Avenue around 2:00 p.m. where they found the man dead.
