A teenage mother is accused of leaving her three young children, ages 3, 1, and 3 months, home alone.
Mobile police were called to an apartment complex in the 400 block of Westwood Street Friday afternoon. Neighbors heard children crying and went to investigate. They found 18-year-old Chandy Smith's kids home alone.
Police eventually found Smith in a nearby apartment. She was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
